Why we started

In 2007, replacing a single broken laptop key meant buying a whole new keyboard — at $80, $100, sometimes $200 — and finding a technician to install it. We thought that was ridiculous.

So we started sourcing individual OEM replacement parts: keycap, retainer clip, and rubber cup. The same three pieces that came out of the factory. Ship them with a free install video. Done in 30 seconds, $5-10 per key instead of $80+ for the whole assembly.
